This connector is aimed at e-commerce retailers who want to synchronise data between the Dutch e-commerce platform Bol and other connectors. It focuses heavily on e-commerce data but also gathers contact information when available.
On this page you have the following options:
Spotler Connect
Spotler Connect allows you to synchronise and transform data such as contacts, orders, or activities between external systems, even if no direct integration is available between them. Connect gathers your data, saves it in your account environment, and changes the format before exporting it to other systems if necessary. By doing this continuously for all connectors in your account, the software can maintain a complete overview of your data in different systems and keep it in sync.
In Connect, you can add account-wide or integration-specific rules to modify data based on conditions, block import or export, or add actions when a condition is met. These rules allow you to customise data being handled in a way that works for external systems—for example, when you want to synchronise mailing opt-ins, activities, or orders.

All FBR orders are imported into Spotler Connect. Orders by Bol are automatically marked as status paid, even when a payment method to pay on credit is selected. This means all orders will be imported into Connect with the Order status Processing. Customer information such as name and email address will be extracted from an order by Spotler Connect and created as a contact, available to be exported to other connectors when necessary.
An overview of Bol order statuses and how they correspond to order statuses in Connect can be found here.
Please note
Only Fulfilment through Retailer (FBR) orders are supported. When a retailer uses both Fulfilment through Bol.com (FBB) and Fulfilment through Retailer (FBR), Spotler Connect only imports FBR orders.
Cancelled Orders
Imported orders that are cancelled by a customer in Bol are updated to the status cancelled in Spotler Connect, but otherwise, they need to be manually processed in external systems.
Returns
Returns through Bol are not supported. This means that return orders do not have an automatic status update and need to be manually processed in external systems.
Products in your Bol seller account will be imported and created as master products in Spotler Connect. The Bol product will be linked to the Connect master product when it already exists through another connector. When a product doesn’t exist yet, it will be created. A product is classified as new or existing based on a barcode or SKU.
Creating products in Bol
Products in your Connect account are automatically created in Bol, with product data pre-filled when possible. Products are created as drafts, and some actions, like assigning product groups, need to be done manually through the Bol interface.
Please note
If you do not want automated product creation in Bol, please make sure to adjust your connector settings, as this is turned on by default.
Stock levels in Bol are automatically adjusted based on stock levels in the stock source system (often a webshop or e-fulfillment system). It is possible to allow backorders in Bol by creating a rule that stock always has a minimum of 1. Please get in touch with our support to set up a backorder rule.
Shipment information from external systems is automatically synchronised to Bol via Spotler Connect, including a tracking code when available. Because Bol does not communicate shipping methods with an order (only shipment providers such as DHL or PostNL), it’s not possible to automatically synchronise a chosen shipment method to external e-fulfillment systems. To solve this, please contact our support to set up a one-time shipping method mapping.
