Overview Corax Connector

The Corax connector is an e-fulfilment connector aimed at synchronising all order, product, stock and shipment data necessary for a flawless fulfilment of orders. This connector does not synchronise contact and checkout data.

On this page you have the following options:

Spotler Connect

Spotler Connect allows you to synchronise and transform data such as contacts, orders, or activities between external systems, even if no direct integration is available between them. Connect gathers your data, saves it in your account environment, and changes the format before exporting it to other systems if necessary. By doing this continuously for all connectors in your account, the software can maintain a complete overview of your data in different systems and keep it in sync.

In Connect, you can add account-wide or integration-specific rules to modify data based on conditions, block import or export, or add actions when a condition is met. These rules allow you to customise data being handled in a way that works for external systems—for example, when you want to synchronise mailing opt-ins, activities, or orders.

Orders

All physical orders with the status Processing in Connect are propagated to Corax for fulfilment.

Cancellations and returns

Spotler Connect does not support cancellations or returns. This means that if a cancellation or return occurs in a sales channel, it must be processed manually and will not automatically be communicated to Corax through Connect.

Shipments

As soon as Corax creates a shipment, this data is imported into Connect and, from there, back through another connector to the platform of order origin.

Shipping preferences

Often, orders are imported into Connect with a shipping preference (shipment provider and/or shipment method). In the Corax connector, the field ShippingPreference that governs this data is filled in one of two ways:

  • Based on the order information: A shipment method is chosen in the checkout process. These values will be propagated to Corax as is, unless shipping rules are applied.
  • Based on shipping rules: Spotler Connect allows you to create shipping rules that determine which input should lead to a selected shipment provider and method. When shipping rules apply, the ShippingPreference field is updated with the result of that rule.

Retrieving shipment data

As soon as tracking information is available in Corax, it is imported into Connect. The shipment data contains:

  • The selected shipping method
  • Track and trace code, if applicable

Please note

If Corax has overwritten the shipping method during fulfillment, the displayed shipping method might not be the original ShippingPreference for the created order.

Products

When a master product is created in Spotler Connect, it is exported to Corax in real time. This prevents errors when an order is imported into Corax before the corresponding product exists. The product information is copied from the Master Product’s source of updates.

Please note

It is recommended that products be created in the Product Source of Updates first (and thus synchronised via Connect to Corax) before sending physical stock to Corax to prevent issues with inbound stock levels.

Stock

When the Corax connector is activated, Corax stock levels are imported into Connect and used to update stock in any external platforms. Stock changes in Corax (such as counting or returns) are updated in real time across all platforms. In addition to these real-time updates, a passive stock synchronisation is performed across all available platforms every 24 hours.
