The Maileon connector is developed to integrate contact data from Connect with Maileon. As such, it synchronizes orders, checkouts, and contact data between the two platforms.

Spotler Connect
Spotler Connect allows you to synchronise and transform data such as contacts, orders, or activities between external systems, even if no direct integration is available between them. Connect gathers your data, saves it in your account environment, and changes the format before exporting it to other systems if necessary. By doing this continuously for all connectors in your account, the software can maintain a complete overview of your data in different systems and keep it in sync.
In Connect, you can add account-wide or integration-specific rules to modify data based on conditions, block import or export, or add actions when a condition is met. These rules allow you to customise data being handled in a way that works for external systems—for example, when you want to synchronise mailing opt-ins, activities, or orders.

Orders that are created in Connect (through other connectors) are imported into Maileon in real time. Orders are created as a so-called Contact event in Maileon.
Checkouts that are created in Connect (through other connectors) are imported into Maileon in real time. Checkouts are created as a so-called Contact event in Maileon.
Contacts that are available in Connect are created in Maileon in real time. If a contact already exists in Maileon (based on e-mail address and/or phone number), the existing contact will be updated. Vice versa, if a contact in Maileon is created or updated, the data will be imported in real time into Connect.
When Connect receives notice that an automation needs to be triggered according to another connector (such as a customer journey trigger in Spotler Activate), an 'AutomationWasTriggered' event is exported to Maileon. This enables Maileon to initiate the selected automation. These events are propagated to Maileon in real-time.
