The JD connector is an e-fulfilment connector aimed at synchronising all order, product, stock and shipment data necessary for a flawless fulfilment of orders. This connector does not synchronise contact and checkout data.
On this page you have the following options:
Spotler Connect
Spotler Connect allows you to synchronise and transform data such as contacts, orders, or activities between external systems, even if no direct integration is available between them. Connect gathers your data, saves it in your account environment, and changes the format before exporting it to other systems if necessary. By doing this continuously for all connectors in your account, the software can maintain a complete overview of your data in different systems and keep it in sync.
In Connect, you can add account-wide or integration-specific rules to modify data based on conditions, block import or export, or add actions when a condition is met. These rules allow you to customise data being handled in a way that works for external systems—for example, when you want to synchronise mailing opt-ins, activities, or orders.

Orders that are propagated to JD are processed for shipment. Therefore, only orders with the status Processing in Spotler Connect are propagated. Whether an order reaches this status depends on the source platform and any status mappings created for orders.
Shipment methods
Spotler Connect uses the field ShippingPreference to convey the selected shipping preference for an order. This field is populated in one of two ways:
- Based on the order information. The shipment method chosen during the checkout process is propagated as is to JD unless shipping rules apply.
- Based on shipping rules. Spotler Connect allows the creation of shipment rules. For any order propagated to JD, shipping rules are applied. When these rules apply, the ShippingPreference is updated with the resulting mapping.
Shipping rules can be configured in the Spotler Connect shipment mapper.
Retrieving shipment data
Spotler Connect receives a shipwayBill once a shipment is available. This shipment data includes:
- The selected shipment method
- A Track & Trace code, if applicable
If the shipping method selected in JD differs from the originally sent ShippingPreference, the ShippingPreference is overwritten with the new value and the change is displayed on the timeline. The updated shipment data is then propagated to the source platform to notify the customer of delivery.
When a master product is created in Spotler Connect, it is exported to JD in real time. This prevents errors when an order is imported into JD before the corresponding product exists. The product information is copied from the Master Product’s source of updates.
Upon activation of the JD integration, JD stock levels are used to update stock in Connect. Stock levels in JD (including counting and returns) are updated real-time. When stock changes are detected in Connect, the new stock levels are propagated to the sales channels.
Important
Spotler Connect currently does not support cancellations or returns. Any cancellations or returns in sales channels must be processed manually and will not be propagated to JD through Connect.
