Overview Spotler Activate connector

The Spotler Activate connector is focused on exporting all relevant order, product, and contact data for Activate to perform optimally. Most of this connector is one-way: except for contact data, contact lists, and activities, any data changes in Activate will not be imported back into Connect.

Spotler Connect

Spotler Connect allows you to synchronise and transform data such as contacts, orders, or activities between external systems, even if no direct integration is available between them. Connect gathers your data, saves it in your account environment, and changes the format before exporting it to other systems if necessary. By doing this continuously for all connectors in your account, the software can maintain a complete overview of your data in different systems and keep it in sync.

In Connect, you can add account-wide or integration-specific rules to modify data based on conditions, block import or export, or add actions when a condition is met. These rules allow you to customise data being handled in a way that works for external systems—for example, when you want to synchronise mailing opt-ins, activities, or orders.

Orders

Orders from Spotler Connect are exported in real-time to Activate. Only orders with the order status Completed are exported. When order details are changed in any way in Activate, this is not synced back to Spotler Connect.

Products

Spotler Connect exports all master products to Activate, both published and draft. This export occurs in real-time, which means that when a new or changed product is detected in a sales channel (often also in real-time), the data is imported to Spotler Connect and immediately exported to Activate. A product change in Activate is not imported back into Spotler Connect.

Stocks

Activate also receives real-time stock level updates from Spotler Connect. This allows any product recommendations in Activate to be filtered based on availability.

Checkouts

Any checkout with the status Abandoned that is collected in Spotler Connect is exported to Activate. Any changes to the checkout data in Activate will not be imported back to Spotler Connect.

Contacts and Contact lists

Contacts imported or created from data in Spotler Connect are exported in real-time to Activate. Contact lists created in Activate are imported back to Spotler Connect and propagated to a contact list processing system such as a CRM.

Organisations

Organisations are extracted from contacts. This operation is performed in Spotler Connect, and as soon as an organisation is created, it is exported to Activate.

Activities

Activities are both imported to Spotler Connect and exported to Activate. Activate can generate the following activities:

  • Automation was Triggered

If this activity occurs on a contact and is detected by Activate, it will be imported into Spotler Connect and propagated to an activity processing system such as a CRM.

Activate can receive the following activities:

  • Email was sent
  • Email was bounced
  • Email was opened
  • Email link was clicked
  • Form was submitted
  • Purchase

If any of these activities are detected by or imported into Spotler Connect, it will export them to Activate and place them on the appropriate contact.

Getting Started with Onboarding

To onboard the Activate connector, you will need the following items:

  • Activate Account ID
  • API secret
