You will see the checkout detail when you click a checkout on the checkout overview. This detail view contains all the data Connect has on a checkout.
This page contains the following options:
- Products
- Receipt
- Timeline
- Deeplinks, Recovery URL and contact information
- Related Orders
- List View
- Manual Retrieval
Products
All products included in the checkout are displayed in this section. These products are linked to Connect master products, ensuring that every item is identified and tracked.
Receipt
This section provides all information regarding payment and shipping that has been filled out. It also includes any coupon codes entered during the checkout process.
Timeline
The timeline shows every change made to this checkout since its creation. It includes changes, rule applications, activity registrations, Connect comments, and updates from external connectors. Clicking on a timeline entry expands it to display detailed changes made to the data.
Deeplinks, Recovery URL and contact information
The contact information for a checkout is saved under Information and includes address data, the email address, and the customer's name.
If available, deep links to the checkout in external platforms are also shown under Information. These deep links are valuable for support tickets as they guide to the checkout in the source platform or another connected platform.
Additionally, recovery URLs, when available, are provided under Information. When clicked, a recovery URL re-creates the abandoned cart with all available information and products, allowing a contact to resume the checkout immediately—even if the checkout cookie is no longer available (for example, in cross-device checkout). A recovery URL is only available when the source platform supports this functionality.
Related Orders
If a checkout has resulted in an order, the order is deeplinked in this section under Related orders.
List View
The list view presents all checkout data in a table format. In addition to the information mentioned above, this list view provides several extra features useful for technical operations or troubleshooting:
- IDs: The checkout ID and any external connector IDs are displayed in this list.
- Meta field: Any metadata associated with the checkout is listed. This data can be used in rule building for advanced operations on checkout data. Metadata may originate from the source connector or be added as a result of a rule performed in Connect.
- Original data: A copy of the original raw checkout data in JSON format is provided. This is very useful for troubleshooting.
Manual Retrieval
It is possible to retrieve a checkout manually. This feature is useful when checkout data has been altered in the source platform, and an immediate update in Connect is required.
