Sometimes, you will need to import a contact manually. For example, when you update a contact and you need this change propagated through other connectors immediately.
Manually importing a contact
To manually import a contact in Connect, navigate to the contact overview and click the Import contact button on the top right of the main table.
This action opens a popup asking for additional info:
- Data type to import: this will always be set to Contact.

- Contact ID: Enter the Contact ID. The name for this ID and how to retrieve it differs between platforms.
- Copernica: The ID can be found as a field in the customer profile.
- Lightspeed: Navigate to the customer detail page. In the URL you will find a section that looks like "/customers/157791879". The number after "/customers/" is the Contact ID.

Customers: The Contact ID is the Customer Number in the Shopware customer overview.
-
Newsletter recipients: Instead of the Contact ID, you can use the recipient's email address.
-
-
Spotler: The Contact ID can be found as 'externKlantID' on the contact detail page. You can also import based on email address.
-
WooCommerce: Customers are registered as users in the user overview. Navigate to the user detail page. In the URL, you will find a section that looks like "user_id=40." This number is the Contact ID.
Once you've finished the questions above, click the Import contact button. The process will run in the background, and after a few seconds, you will receive visual feedback on whether the import has succeeded. If it has succeeded, the order will appear in the contact overview.
