Connect imports, creates and exports several activities. Activities are standardised events that occur across platforms or in Connect itself. This could include a page view, click, sign-up, product change, or an anonymised order. Activities may also be triggered by custom rules configured for data.

Activities on timeline
Activities are visible on timelines, which can be found on the detail pages of orders, products, checkouts, contacts, contact lists and organisations. Clicking on an activity reveals all information about it.

These activities are generated as a result of a rule.

These events typically occur due to internal changes within Connect. While they might be triggered by external systems—such as stock mutations or shipment updates—they are not semantically considered activities by users. These activities serve more as a log of data changes in Connect.
