Organisations in Connect consist of groups of contacts that fall under the same organisational structure. Organisations can be used to group contacts and to see activities for a company or organisation as a whole.

Import of Organisations
Organisations are created in two ways:
- Imported from connectors that already contain organisational structures or companies, such as CRMs
- Created based on email address domains (e.g.
…@spotler.comcreates the organisation Spotler)
Organisations that are imported are deduplicated based on ID or email address domain.
Export of Organisations
Organisations are exported from Spotler Connect through connectors that support organisations (i.e. CRM or CRM-like systems such as Tribe, Spotler Leads and SpotlerCRM). When an organisation is exported, it is created or updated in the external platform.
Spotler Connect Blacklist/Personal email provider list
Spotler Connect includes a list of domains that are excluded from automatically creating organisations. This prevents the uncontrolled growth of organisations based on personal or generic email domains. Redacted domains include extensions such as:
@gmail.com@yahoo.com@ziggo.nl
The list is extensive and is updated regularly. Please contact support if you have specific questions about this list.
When a contact has an email extension that is on the list, Connect will show 'Connect Email Blacklist', or 'Personal Email Provider' in contact detail view address section under 'Company name'. The redacted organisation is not visible on overviews.

Filter organisation statuses
Organisations can be filtered based on their status in Spotler Connect. The tabbed bar at the top of the screen only shows statuses with at least one result.
Advanced filter on organisations
Clicking the Filter button opens advanced filtering options. These filters include the ability to filter by source connectors and related connectors. You can also use the search bar to look up one or more organisations quickly.
Bulk edit selections
After creating a selection, checkboxes can be used to select organisations for bulk editing. The checkbox in the table’s header allows the selection of all organisations on the page or within the selection. The Filter button then changes to Bulk actions, offering options to update or delete the selected organisations.
Import organisations manually
Organisations can be imported manually, although we recommend letting the connector import organisation automatically. Click on the yellow button on the top right of the overview and follow the steps to manually import an organisation.
