Overview Prospect CRM connector

Prospect CRM can be connected with Spotler Connect to synchronise data across systems. This integration ensures that contacts, contact lists and are up to date, and that activities can be exported to Prospect CRM in near real-time.

In this article you will learn more about:

Spotler Connect

Spotler Connect allows you to synchronise and transform data such as contacts, orders, or activities between external systems, even if no direct integration is available between them. Connect gathers your data, saves it in your account environment, and changes the format before exporting it to other systems if necessary. By doing this continuously for all connectors in your account, the software can maintain a complete overview of your data in different systems and keep it in sync.

In Connect, you can add account-wide or integration-specific rules to modify data based on conditions, block import or export, or add actions when a condition is met. These rules allow you to customise data being handled in a way that works for external systems—for example, when you want to synchronise mailing opt-ins, activities, or orders.

Available data

Data type Import to Connect Export to Prospect CRM Timeframe
Organisations Yes Yes Import on 5 min interval, export real-time
Contacts Yes Yes Import on 5 min interval, export real-time
Contact lists Yes No 5 min interval
Activities No Yes Real-time
Organisations

Prospect CRM organisations are imported into Spotler Connect. Existing organisations are updated based on changes coming through other connectors. This process is executed near real-time. As soon as an organisation is created in Prospect CRM, a profile is made in Connect.

Contacts

Prospect CRM contacts are imported into Spotler Connect, and existing Prospect CRM contacts are updated based on changes coming through other connectors. This process is executed near real-time. As soon as a contact is created in Prospect CRM, a profile is made in Connect.

Contact lists

Contact lists in Connect are imported from Prospect CRM as campaigns. These campaigns can be made available to other systems that are integrated with Connect, for example an ESP like Mail+. Contact lists are not exported from Connect to Prospect CRM, so any contact lists made in other systems will not appear in Prospect CRM.

Activities

Activities are exported to Prospect CRM as Campaign activities as soon as they become available in Connect. This occurs near real-time. Note that campaign activities recorded in Prospect CRM are not imported into Connect.

Currently, the following activities are supported for export to Prospect CRM:

  • Conversation was concluded
  • Email complaint
  • Email Link was clicked
  • Email was bounced
  • Email was openened
  • Email was sent
  • Form was submitted
  • Has attended event
  • Has not attended event
  • Pageview
  • SMS was bounced
  • SMS was sent
  • Was invited to event
  • Will attend event
  • Will not attend event

The activities Subcribe, Unsubscribe, Was added to list and Was removed from list are always processed through contact data change instead of through activities data. Therefore they might appear as an exported campaign activity from Prospect CRM, but please be aware that no actual campaign activities from Prospect CRM are imported into Connect.
