Suppose you want to integrate your current Copernica database with Spotler Connect, and you already have a different database setup than our standard database model. In that case, the data needs to be transferred into our model to ensures compatibility with the connector. Follow the steps below to export the current dataset, activate the Copernica connector and import the old dataset into the new database.
In this article you will learn more about:
- Step 1 Export your current database
- Step 2 Activate your Spotler Connect integration
- Step 3 Import the old dataset
Step 1 Export your current database
Follow these steps in Copernica to export the current database. This creates a dataset you can later import into the new database generated by Connect when you activate your connector.
Step 2 Activate your Copernica connector
During the onboarding of the Copernica connector, Connect creates a new database in your Copernica account. This database will store all data propagated through the Connector. Go into the Copernica dashboard, and check whether the new Connect database has been created.
Step 3 Import the old dataset
After verifying the new database is created, import the old dataset. Match each column in the exported dataset to the appropriate column in the new database. If assistance is required, contact a Copernica account manager. More information about the default Spotler Connect Copernica database model is available in the documentation.
